Midnight Horrors Academy is a westernized anime about the same premise of the original Midnight Horror School anime, where ghosts of various objects hang out in an academy, except with different improvements.

It also features two male and female "?" characters.

  • Juno sounds like Wonder Woman from DC Super Hero Girls.

  • Wattz sounds like the Ice King from Adventure Time.
  • Yumyum sounds like Brick from the Powerpuff Girls.
  • Warner Bros. and Toho were working on a live-action/animated movie based on the MHS anime around the same time as the spinoff focusing on Juno, but went unreleased due to TBA. The finished product was uploaded onto Vimeo, Newgrounds, Vidlii and Daliymotion in VHS quality.
