Goosebumps: The Animated Series is a animated horror television series concept by Red-Verse-Writer, based on the popular children's horror-comedy books Goosebumps by R.L. Stine. Set during the height of the series' popularity (1993-1998) and featuring a consistent cast and universe rather than jumping between different settings every episode, it revolves around a global organisation of children and teenagers with special abilities who protect the children of the world from hostile monsters, aliens, mutants and various other threats. The series itself revolves around one sector of this organisation stationed in a unspecified region of the midwestern United States of America, in particular the newest recruit to the group, Matthew Stiner, and their adventures battling various supernatural, realistic and fantastical threats to children in a myriad of locations and ways.
