Alberto Falcone was the son of crime lord Carmine Falcone. Alberto desired to help with the "family business", but Carmine refused because he wanted Alberto to be an honest citizen that wouldn't fear being arrested or hit. However Alberto just took this as meaning his father didn't think he was able.
